traveling and post traveling blues!

Okay, not really that blue. Our travels were quite nice, busy, and that's why you haven't heard from us lately! We were in Pittsburgh for about 6 days, then Philly for another week - in Philly, we picked up a few bugs - first a stomach bug, then a fever/aches/congestion bug that we're JUST NOW getting over. Actually, everyone but Emily was hit with both things, which is quite the contrast to the usual. I'm wondering if it was Airborne, which I've been taking more or less diligently for over a week now, twice a day. . . .

Either that or it's that I've been so sick so frequently in the past that I've just had these bugs already. . . .

But I shouldn't speak too soon - I feel a sore throat coming on.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post a little jot and a few pics, just to say that we're back, and on the road to normalacy. . .

Oh, and Lubbock has suffered an "ice storm" which is bemusing Jim and me. We've had three "snows" now in Lubbock this winter, and Philly is still at zero, I believe? Yet people here freak out about just the little coating and tremble about how all their neighbors don't know how to drive in winter weather.

Silly Texans.
