lots of cake. and a pie.

happy birthday boys! you'll see from the above pictures that birthdays are a very serious matter in the angehr household.

We did so many birthday celebrations of one form or another (actual birthdays, party, etc) that Josiah is still asking about when the next birthday cake is going to be. In the pics you'll see a birthday pie (cranberry apple), a chocolate dump truck cake, and a carrot cake. There was also a pumpkin pie for Micah's real birthday, but there wasn't a good picture. (I just realized that we did birthday pies for the real birthdays, and cakes for the party. . . I'm not sure what that signifies, except that Jim likes pie, and Josiah doesn't care as long as it has sugar in it).

People who criticized us for having whole wheat flour/applesauce carrot cakes for Josiah's first 2 birthdays should note that Micah got white flour, less applesauce, and got some of Josiah's chocolate cake as well. Second child syndrome. And the fact that he's like in the 1 percentile of weight for kids his age(someone has to be, right?)
