Is a good family shot POSSIBLE?

Well, someone from the church planting network needed a family shot. Here's what we got. . . I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to convince Josiah and Micah to look at the camera AND smile, both at the same moment. Actually, I should add Jim to that sentence as well.

So November is here, and we're planning for Thanksgiving, two birthdays, a slew of church events, and then Christmas! Needless to say, I am actually looking forward to . . . January. . . .

We're pondering buying bikes for the boys for their birthdays, but:

1. I have a fear of letting them ride on sidewalks with the potential of cars backing up. Especially considering the number of careless college students who live around here.

2. I have a lazy aversion to having to drive two bikes to the park to ride.

3. I anticipate too many "I want to go ride" vs. "It's too cold" arguments, and think we should wait til Spring.

We'll see.
