Mama, I don't really look like a cow.

Yesterday we went to the South Plains County Fair. We saw cows and chickens and horses and an emu. Josiah got to ride on ONE ride, and was upset when we didn't go on more (the tickets were $3 each!!!!!) He also shook the hand of a monkey.

Well, the fair was a celebration, because yesterday, we ALSO had closing on the house here in Lubbock! We PRAISE THE LORD because all the details in both selling and buying houses have worked out smoothly above and beyond our anticipations. Really, can only be the hand of providence.

Speaking of Providence - that's the name of our new church - Providence Presbyterian Church, and we're settling in nicely there. We really sense the Lord's hand in many things. But pray that Jim has wisdom and energy for all the work that needs to be done.
